Christmas Party 2019 at During’s BBQ, Pasig City

During’s BBQ & Restaurant is located along M Jimenez Street right after crossing the Arsenio Jimenez Bridge (coming from Pasig Palengke). Last year, it was the venue of our team’s Christmas Party. I don’t know what package our Team Leader took, but we have a baby lechon!

I love their fish fillet, manga and bagoong, lechon kawali, among others.

Ado’s Panciteria

I used to live in Sumilang, Pasig City during my elementary years. Then I usually go to church at Pasig Cathedral. In between the church and our place in Sumilang, lies the famous restaurant in Pasig City – Ado’s Panciteria. It’s been around since 1952 and is located at 126, A. Luna Street, Malinao, Pasig City.

I love their Pancit (with chicharon), pork barbeque and their Lomi Gawe. Here are some pictures of the food at Ado’s Panciteria when my photography friends stopped by this famous panciteria in one of our photowalks.

Street Food in Liliw, Laguna

It’s the 1^st day of November 2020 and we’ve been in quarantine for almost 8 months now. I missed going out of Metro Manila even if it’s nearby provinces like Laguna.

I was reviewing some of the photos of my stolen Vivo Y91 when I came across these two photos of street food in Liliaw, Laguna – the shoe capital of the province. This one was taken near by church. It’s empanada, lumpia, karioka, and one more kakanin.

Whenever I travel, I always try to taste the local food. It’s part of their heritage and culture. Most can be found near the church and public market, where the people are.

I hope I could travel again soon. I would try to take more pictures of the local food moving forward. Let’s welcome 2021 with optimism that the pandemic will end sooner.

Karioka and what’s this other one? Looks like small donuts to me.
